In keeping with our historical walk, OurTown Realty is honored to be photographed at front of the Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church.
In 1978 Dexter Avenue Baptist Church was re-named Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King. Dr. King lead the bus boycott from the basement of this very church. At that time, he served as the church Pastor.
